Dr. Chiranjeeva has more than six years of research and teaching experience. He obtained his Doctorate in Forestry with specialization in Silviculture, and master’s degree in forestry with specialization in Plantation technology. He has obtained Junior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Agricultural Research for the year 2010- 2012 and the recipient of Inspire Fellowship from Department of Science and Technology, Government of India for the year 2013-2018.

He has 13 Research articles, 1 book and few popular articles to his credit. He has participated and presented his research work in various National and International Conferences. He is a life member in Indian Society of Agroforestry and Society for Advancement of Human and Nature. Climate change mitigation through forestry interventions, tropical agroforestry for sustainable development and commercial forestry are the areas of his interest.

Ch. Bhargavi got her master’s degree in forestry from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur. She was also qualified ICAR NET for agroforestry in 2023 and SET (State eligibility test) conducted by Telangana state in 2023. she has 06 Research articles, 2 review articles, 2 books and few popular articles to her credit. She has participated in various National and International Conferences. She is also an annual member in Journal of Indian botanical society. Climate change mitigation, Innovations in tropical agroforestry, Sustainable Forest management and Tropical ecology are the areas of her interest.

Bhushan Uday Kelkar is an Assistant Professor of Wood Science and Technology. He has completed his Bachelor of Science (Forestry) from College of Forestry, Dapoli, Maharashtra and Master of Science (Wood Science and Technology) from Forest Research Institute (Deemed to be University), Dehradun. He is perusing his Ph.D. from FRI, (DU), Dehradun, India. His doctoral research is focused on the development and characterization of value-added structural composites from bamboo as a sustainable alternative for commonly used timber species.

He has received an international fellowship awarded by World Bamboo Organization, U.S.A. (2021-2023) for conducting globally coordinated research on bamboo and bamboo-based composites to promote the use of bamboo products for the betterment of environment and economy. He has also published several research papers in reputed International and National journals and also presented his research work in various National and International conferences during his research tenures.

His areas of research, writing, teaching revolve around basics and advancements in the field of Wood Science and Technology; with emphasis on development of value-added biobased composites from wood and bamboo, Thermal modification of wood, bamboo and other lignocellulosic resources, Understanding and evaluating peculiar material properties such as weathering and interlaminar fracture toughness of bio-composites and Development of natural fiber reinforced hybrid wood veneer composites bonded using biobased wood-thermoplastics.

Dr. Syopat is an assistant professor of English in the department of Basic and Social Sciences at Forest College and Research Institute, Siddipet, Telangana, where he works on enhancing communication skills and developing overall personality of the students. His higher educational credentials include B.A. (Hons.) English, M.A. in Linguistics, and PhD in Linguistics from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.

His doctoral research is in the area of Syntax, where he provides a syntactic account of Case and Agreement pattern in Bagri, a language variety spoken in parts of Northwestern India. During the research period, he published papers in renowned international journals and attended several conferences, workshops, and symposiums conducted at both national and international levels.

He received his UGC – Junior Research Fellowship certificate in 2018. He has worked as a language consultant at National Police Academy, Hyderabad. His core areas of interest include language teaching, theoretical linguistics, computational linguistics, and translation studies.

Dr. B. Harish Babu completed Master of Science in Forestry from College of Forestry, Allahabad Agricultural University, his M.Sc. work was on “Effect of Plant Growth Regulators on Growth Performance of stem cuttings of Terminalia arjuna (Roxb.) and Terminalia chebula (Retz)”, on his research work he was awarded with best outstanding M.Sc. Thesis Award Presented by Society for Agriculture Innovation & Development, Ranchi, for outstanding contribution in the field of Forestry.

He pursued his Doctoral Degree in Forestry from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana where he worked on “Mapping and Monitoring of Agroforestry areas in Yamunanagar, Ambala and Panchkula districts of Haryana state using Geospatial Techniques”.

He has qualified ICAR-NET in Forestry (Agroforestry) in 2018. On his Research work he published Research Articles in most prominent journals like The Indian Forester, etc and he also published Abstracts in National and International conferences. Totally he has 6 research publications, 4 book chapters and 10 popular articles to his credit.

Dr. Malek Soufil S. is an assistant professor of Silviculture in the Department of Silviculture and Agroforestry. He completed is Masters of Science in Forestry with specialization in Agroforestry at ASPEE college of Horticulture and Forestry, NAU, Navsari, Gujarat. Got one year research biologist experience in “all India tiger estimation exercise” at wildlife institute of India, Dehradun. He obtained his Doctorate in Forestry with the specialization in Silviculture and Agroforestry from College of Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Gujarat.

He is a recipient of “SHODH (Scheme of developing high quality research) fellowship” of Government of Gujarat during his doctorate tenure.

Smt. Sailaja has 14 years of Research, Teaching and Extension experience in Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institutes, Telangana State Forest Department and Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University. She worked with ICAR-Indian Institute of Rice Research, Hyderabad in estimation of temperature thresholds and thermal constants for development and survival of rice leaf folder, rice plant hoppers which is used for development of phenology models for forecasting the pests. She worked with ICAR-Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture where she has prepared 114 District Agriculture Contingency Plans for different states in India to manage various weather aberrations addressing different sectors of agriculture in NICRA Project.

She has 5 projects funded by National Medicinal Plant Board; Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change; National Bee Board; Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; 20 Research articles, 4 books and few popular articles to her credit. She has participated and presented her research work in various National and International Conferences. Her area of interest is in pest population dynamics and weather based forewarning models for integrated pest management and Scientific Beekeeping.

She has received Best Master Thesis Award, Best Poster Award in International conference organized at ICRISAT, Scientist Associate Award in the field of Entomology and Best Photo Winner Award. She delivered lectures as Resource Person at various Institutes/ Organizations/ Universities to create awareness on Scientific Beekeeping to diversify the income sources by providing pollination support and extraction of high value bee products.

Dr. B. Jagadeesh has a strong academic background and 4.5 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and extension activities and committed to advancing knowledge in the field of plant diseases, fostering critical thinking in students, and contributing to environmental sustainability through innovative research and outreach initiatives.

He pursued his B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture degree in College of Horticulture, Mojerla, Dr. YSRHU, later he started his scientific career with Masters in Plant Pathology in University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka with ICAR-JRF. For his Doctoral degree, Jagadeesh joined in GBPUA&T, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand with ICAR-SRF. He has also qualified ICAR-NET during 2017-2018. Developed and delivered engaging lectures and laboratory sessions on various aspects of plant pathology to undergraduate and graduate students.

Mentored and advised students on research projects, helping several secure awards and publish research findings. Published peer-reviewed research papers (7), popular articles (10) and book chapters (4), in reputable scientific journals and presented findings at national and international conferences. Secured in research grants to support ongoing investigations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Dr. Sreekumar is a wildlife biologist and completed his B. Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, M. Sc. Forestry and Ph. D. Forestry from Kerala Agricultural University. He is specialized in wildlife science during post-graduation. He has worked on the impact of climate change on the montane specialized endemic birds of the Western Ghats, India during Ph. D programme. He has been awarded with the KSCSTE Research Fellowship by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment. He qualified both UGC and ICAR National Eligibility Tests.

His research interests span a wide spectrum, encompassing ornithology, species distribution modelling, the study of small carnivores, active participation in citizen science initiatives, and the relentless pursuit of wildlife conservation goals. Additionally, he possesses a strong aptitude for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data analysis, utilizing the R application. Dr. Sreekumar's significant contributions to the field of wildlife biology are substantiated by the publication of numerous scientific articles in reputable journals.

Dr. Mamatha has worked as Assistant Professor in the Dept., of Botany, Telangana University, Nizamabad for 11 years and 10 years in Research. She completed her M.Sc. (Botany) and Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyd. She worked as Research Assistant in the Forest Department in Hyderabad and Research Associate in CSIR Project Dept. of Botany, Osmania University.

She worked as a Lecturer in Botany in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College, Hyderabad. She Published 20 Research papers in National/ International Journals and attended 20 National/ International Conferences / seminars. She visited John Hopkins University Montgomery Country Campus Rockville, Mary land – USA and also visited Colombo University, Colombo, Srilanka and presented research papers.

She served as Administrative positions like NSS programming officer, Director, SC-ST Cell Coordinator, Coordinator for Network of Indian Universities on cultural and biological diversity (NIUCBD), Director of Women Cell, Vice-Principal of University College, Chairperson Board of Studies in Botany, Chairperson Board of Studies in Forestry, Coordinator for Sports and Games and also Served as Dy. Dr. Sreedhar has more than 10 years of research and teaching experience in various universities/research institutes in India and abroad. Prior to joining FCRI, he worked as UGC-Assistant Professor under the Faculty Recharge Program) at the Department of Biochemistry, Kakatiya University, Warangal. He has taught Enzymology, Immunology, Plant and Animal Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Biostatistics courses for M.Sc. Biochemistry students, besides active research in the area of cardiovascularbiology.

His studies characterized zinc dyshomeostasis during myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and the therapeutic effects of zinc pyrithione (ionophore), along with analysis of ZIP and ZnT expression in cardio myocytes. His research on endothelial dysfunction with cisplatin delineated the molecular signaling mechanisms, using silencing approach.He had earlier worked at KL University (Deemed to be), Vaddeswaram as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology.

He has designed, developed curriculum and taught Transgenic Technology and Molecular Expression Technology courses for B.Tech. Biotechnology students. He has also taught Medical Biotechnology for M.Tech. Biotechnology students. His postdoctoral stint at the Cardiovascular Research Center, University of Alberta with Dr. Gavin Oudit focused on characterizing the role of ACE2 in hypertension and cardiomyopathy using transgenic animal models. His research at the Medical College of Wisconsin involved studies on eicosanoid (EETs and HETEs) signaling in endothelial cells and cardio myocytes and in vivo models of ischemia/reperfusion injury.

Mrs. Perala Nikitha has completed her M.Sc. in Agriculture Extension at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar. Currently pursuing Ph D. in Agriculture Extension at PJTSAU, Hyderabad. She is specialized in Instructional Technology and has contributed in the development of learning style inventory for the farmers based on the suitability of extension teaching methods used by extension personnel which is of first of its kind.

She has also qualified ICAR ARS- NET in Agricultural Extension. She is the topper in post-graduation and the recipient of UGC National Fellowship during her PhD studies. She has published several research papers in various National and International Journals. She has participated& presented her work in various conferences, workshops, trainings she has also participated in various agricultural programmes like ChenuKaburlu, Mana Telangana Mana Vyavasayam, Agricultural Exhibitions, Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Diwas etc.

She is a life member in Society of Extension Education, Research Gate and International Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology. Her field of interest is in the areas of Climate smart Extension, Community based Extension, Farmer Innovations and Participatory Extension Methodologies. She is represented as an NCC Cadet and received token of Appreciation and recognition as best social service volunteer by Lions Club International, Youth Outreach & National Cadet Corps (A.P Police Academy).

Mr. Sai Krishna working as an Assistant Professor in ICT, has 12 years of teaching and industry experience. He has Masters in Technology (M.Tech.) with GATE qualified in CSE from CVSR, Engineering and Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) in C.S.E. from TKR Engineering College. He is an expert in C, ICT, Networks, Mysql, Oracle, Windows XP, LINUX, Windows 8, Windows 10, HTML. He is well trained professional in PC hardware and Software applications.

He has handled subjects like C, JAVA, Agricultural Informatics, Operating System, Management Information System, and Storage area networks, Software Engineering, Data Base Management Systems (DBMS), C Lab, DBMS Lab and IT Lab, GIS Lab. He has published 5 papers on Cloud Computing, Internet of Things and Big Data in National and International Journals. He is also trained on Remote-sensing and GIS. Has a good knowledge of Arc GIS Arc Map 10.5.

Dr. Pawan Kumar an expert in the field of statistics. Dr. Pawan Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Statistics, is awarded a Gold medal, reflecting his dedication to advancing knowledge of specialization in sample survey and Design of experiments. With his profound understanding of statistical methodologies, data analysis techniques, machine learning and mathematical modelling.

Holding the graduation root in the field of Forestry and Master’s degree in Statistics from Dr. YSPUHF. Dr. Pawan Kumar plays an important role in disseminating knowledge of statistical analysis to enhance research and decision-making processes. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Waseem completed his Master of Science in Agricultural Entomology from College of Agriculture, Allahabad Agricultural University, with his M.Sc. research focused on Impact of different intercrops for the management of gram pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera) in chickpea. He obtained his Doctorate in Entomology specializing in Apiculture, from Dr Y. S Parmar university of Horticulture and Forestry, where he worked on “Effect of fipronil and lambda cyhalothrin on colony performance of Apis mellifera under field and semi-field conditions”.

He has participated in 5 training programs and presented his research findings in various National and International Conferences. Totally he has 4 research publications, 5 book chapters and 4 popular articles to his credit. He is also a member in The Entomological Society of India and Association of Agrometeorologists.

Her subjects of expertise include communication skills and mathematics. She has conducted various personality development and communication skills development classes and workshops at various places in Hyderabad. Has an experience of 5yrs in this field. Working as an IELTS trainer for fluent life. She conducted various activities for the NGO Sin the field of communication skills and personality development.

Dr. Kapil has more than six years of research and teaching experience in various universities/research institutes in India. He possesses meritorious academic record in field of Wood Science and Technology. Prior to joining forest college and research institute, he worked as Assistant Professor in college of agricultural sciences, Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. He has taught Wood Anatomy, Wood Products and Utilization, Wood Science and Technology (wood preservation, wood seasoning, wood sawing and finishing), Non-Timber Forest Products courses for B.Sc. Forestry students.

He has done B.Sc. Forestry from College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar (MPUAT Udaipur) and M.Sc. Wood Science and Technology from FRI, Dehradun. He has qualified Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)- NET examination in 2013.His doctoral degree at FRI, Dehradun with Dr. Anil Negi focused study on the development of medium density fiber board from bamboo using needle punch technique. It was the unique work for the development of fiber board.

Dr. Sumit has more than five years of research and teaching experience in various universities in India and abroad. He received his Bachelor of Science (Forestry) from College of Forestry, Dapoli, Maharashtra and Master of Science (Wood Science and Technology) from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He received his Ph.D. from University Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia. His doctoral research focused on the modification of nanoclay using transition metal ion and its effect on mechanical, physical, and thermal properties of Wood-plastic composites.

His Post-doctoral researcher tenure at Kyungpook National University, South Korea and University of Malaya, Malaysia with Professor Byung-Dae Park focused on effect of nanoclay modification on the performance of Urea-Formaldehyde resins adhesives. His research at University of Malaya involved the synthesis of nanocellulose from palm fiber and its reinforcement in wood polymer composites.

His research and teaching interest includes Wood adhesion (Synthesis and modification of thermosetting polymers and its application in wood panels), Wood composites (Reinforcement of nanofiller in wood composites/wood- plastic composites), Bio composites (Preparation of composites from weeds or other lignocellulosic materials/ Synthesis of nanocellulose from lignocellulosic materials and its application in bio composites).

Dr. Reeja has nine years of Teaching, Research and Extension experience. Her subjects of expertise include Tree Genetics, Tree Breeding and Improvement with special focus on clonal forestry and Conservation Biology. She has also worked extensively on the improvement of Bio-diesel crop Jatropha. She started her career in 2009 as SMS at KVK, Vriddhachalam, TNAU. Remote sensing is another area of interest to her with special focus on hyperspectral sensing and techniques.

She had done a short-term pilot project on “Estimation of Foliar Nitrogen using Hyperspectral satellite data from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing. She has 15 Research articles, 3 books and 3 book chapters to her credit. She has participated and presented her research work in various National and International Conferences.

Ms. T. V. B. S. Lalitha is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tree Breeding and Improvement, Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI), Hyderabad at Mulugu. She has completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry and M.Sc. Forestry in the department of Forest Biology and Tree Improvement in FCRI, Mulugu. She awarded PCCF’s (HOFF) Gold Medal for securing the first position in B.Sc.(Hons.) Forestry and secured top rank in her masters. She has qualified in National eligibility test (NET) and SET (state eligibility test) conducted by UGC and Telangana state respectively.

In addition to these, she got qualified in few competitive exams conducted at Telangana state level. She has extensively carried out screening studies on neem genotypes for higher azadirachtin content and also worked on molecular divergence studies of neem genotypes collected from different districts of Telangana and Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan states of India by using ISSR markers during her Master programme which made her to expertise in molecular genetic works viz., DNA extraction and amplification with markers. She has done a project work on macro-propagation and macro-proliferation of Bamboo.

She also extended her work on evaluation of growth parameters of nursery raised seedlings of jamun with the application of biofertilizers to them. Her areas of prime interest are Tree improvement, Biotechnological innovations in forestry, seed technology Environmental science, Biodiversity conservation studies. She has 4 research papers to her credit. She also participated in few national level seminars and conferences and received a certificate for poster presentation in “One day National seminar on Intellectual Property Rights in Forest Genetic Resource Conservation & Management”.

Dr. Shalini Mudalkar has published sixteen research articles and two book chapters, which have received numerous citations. Her scientific interests include plant tissue culture, molecular biology, plant stress biology, "omics" studies and molecular characterization of medicinal, aromatic, and dye-yielding plants.

Dr. Arjun has completed his BSc (Hons.) Forestry from Kerala Agricultural University, MSc (Forestry) in Forest Genetic Resources from University of Agricultural Sciences – Dharwad (Sirsi) and PhD (Forestry) Forest Biology and Tree Improvement from Kerala Agricultural University. A gold medalist in the Masters’ programme, he has been awarded the coveted INSPIRE Junior Research Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

His academic profile includes securing national-level competitive scholarships (UGC JRF in Environmental Science, GATE in Ecology and Evolution) and qualifying UGC and ICAR National Eligibility Tests multiple times. His prime research interests are tree breeding, molecular biology and conservation genetics.

His formal research has been on genetic diversity assessment and domestication of an anti-cancer drug yielding plant found in the wilderness of peninsular India as scattered populations. He also nurtures a parallel interest in bird diversity and ecology. He has published in journals of repute such as Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution and Current Science.

Dr. Priya's M.Sc. work was “Vegetative propagation of Pittosporum floribundum through cuttings under mid hill conditions of Himachal Pradesh” and Ph.D. thesis work was on “Growth, regeneration and propagation studies of Olea glandulifera. She received merit scholarship for her master’s research as well as DST INSPIRE fellowship for her doctoral research. She has more than15 national and international publications. She has co-authored one book.

She has also done two years training course for Assistant conservator of forest at Dehradun with special medal in the subject of Ecology and Biodiversity. Before joining FCRI, she was working as a Sub- Divisional Forest Officer in Nawegaon National Park, NNTR, under Maharashtra Forest department. She has one-year experience of working in Wildlife, National Park and tiger Reserve. She did Aquatic habitat Restoration of Nawegaon lake, Meadow development works for herbivores, weed eradication, wildlife census etc. in NNTR.

Dr. N.S. Srinidhi completed her Post Graduation in Environmental Science from the Osmania University, Hyderabad. She obtained Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. She ranked second in her M.Sc. Examination at the University level. She has more than three years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Science and Technology, where she taught Environmental Studies and Disaster Management.

She also served as an NSS Programme Officer and faculty coordinator for the Student Social Services Club in the same college. She also has a work experience of three years in an environmental NGO (Council for Green Revolution) and an Educational NGO (Vanguards) based in Hyderabad. She was awarded with UGC - JRF for the period of 2017 to 2019. She has also qualified UGC - NET (January 2017) and TS – SET (June - 2017). Mr.M. Sampath Kumar works as a Librarian at Forest College and Research Institute, Mulugu. He has more than 3 years of experience as an Information Assistant. He had earlier worked as Information assistant at IIT Madras, Chennai and R.V.M. Medical College, Mulugu, Telangana State. He received his Master's of Library and Information Science from Kakatiya University and Postgraduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking (P.G.D.L.A.N) from University of Hyderabad.

Moreover, he is teaching Library and Information Services to the Postgraduate Students at Forest College & Research Institute. He has published two articles in journals on Digital Libraries and Total Quality Management.

Dr. K. Prabhu working as a Physical Director/Sports Officer FCRI, Hyderabad @ Mulugu. He has 12 years in Schools, 24 years in Junior/Degree & PG Colleges experience. Mr. Anish Katikala pursued his B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry degree in Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI), Hyderabad @ Mulugu, Siddipet, Telangana, affiliated to Osmania University(OU), Masters in Forestry, at Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI), Hyderabad @ Mulugu, Siddipet, Telangana affiliated to Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University(SKLTSHU).

During his post-graduation, he worked on “Studies on Growth potential and Carbon sequestration potential of Teak in Dry deciduous forests of Adilabad district”. He was awarded with University Grants Commission (UGC) – JRF (Junior Research Fellow) in December 2022. He is qualified UGC – NET (National Eligibility Test) in December 2022 and Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB)(ICAR) NET in July 2023. He has published Research Papers during his M.Sc.

Mr. Anma Naresh working as a Physical Education Teacher Forest College and Research Institute, Hyderabad @ Mulugu. He has 2 years of Physical Education Teacher experience at Sri Venkateshwara B.P. ED College, Dubbak. He is well Trained at Ball badminton 64th – TS State level Championship Boys or Girls for Coach level at Warangal 2018. Osmania University 4th Zone medak District Inter College Sports of Games Volley ball winner in 2014-2015. His well performance at State level Volley ball Championship Participated 2013-2014 in Prakasham District.
